MINIMALLY INVASIVE AND ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY OF THE SKULL BASE & CP Angle

The team is specialized in advanced surgical procedures such as:

• Removal of acoustic neuromas and skull base tumors, using minimally invasive endoscopic surgery techniques and navigation systems. These very specific pathologies require an advanced technical platform available to the Clairval OR unit and collaboration with neurosurgical teams, anesthesiologists, radiologists, radiotherapists (cyber-knife) and physiotherapists.

• Facial paralysis and facial spasm: Headed by Dr. Arnaud Devèze, the team has got a specific knowledge in the surgical treatment of pathologies of the facial nerve: decompression of facial paralysis and surgery of vascular-nervous conflicts (hemifacial spasms, Trigeminal neuralgia - Tic Douloureux) as well as the rehabilitation of facial paralysis in a multidisciplinary way.

• The team has set up specialized cares to rehabilitate and relieve facial paralysis : botulinum toxin injections, speech therapy (Margaux Franceschi).
